Farming knowledge should not be a private advantage
The farmer with the best information gets the best price, the right subsidy and the higher yield. That information exists — it is just locked inside universities, PDFs and the heads of people who have already made the mistakes. Technical Kisan is an attempt to unlock it.
How we work
Four rules we do not break
These are not marketing lines. They are the constraints we edit against, and they are the reason we say no to things.

Numbers, or it did not happen
Every recommendation carries the cost, the yield, the subsidy rate or the deadline attached to it. Advice without a number is an opinion, and there is enough of that already.

We say when something is not worth it
A drone is a poor purchase below 50 acres. Drip does not pay on wheat. If the honest answer is "do not buy this", that is the answer you will get here.

No paid placements. None.
No brand has ever paid to appear in a guide, and none ever will. The moment a seed company can buy a recommendation, everything else on this site becomes worthless.

Free, and light enough to actually load
Every calculator runs on your phone with no sign-up and no data leaving the device. The site is built to work on a 2G connection at the edge of a field, because that is where it gets used.

What we are not claiming
We do not put invented names and fabricated credentials on articles to look more authoritative. Plenty of agriculture sites do. An author box is a promise that a qualified, named person stands behind advice that will cost you money — and we will not make that promise until it is true.
So there is one byline: the editorial desk. When real named agronomists and farmers join and put their names to this work, they will appear here, with credentials you can check.
