Overview
Annadata Sukhibhava is Andhra Pradesh’s income-support top-up, launched in August 2025. It does not replace PM-KISAN: the central ₹6,000 keeps arriving as usual, and the state adds ₹14,000 so the family reaches ₹20,000 for the year.
Because the scheme is built on the PM-KISAN beneficiary list, the practical work is not applying for it — it is making sure your PM-KISAN record is clean. An incomplete e-KYC or an unlinked land record stops the state top-up exactly as it stops the central instalment.
What you get
The benefit as the state notifies it — nothing here is an estimate.
- ₹20,000 a year per farmer family, counting the PM-KISAN instalments already being received.
- No separate application if you are already on the PM-KISAN list — the state draws the beneficiary data from it.
- Tenant farmers cultivating under a valid Crop Cultivator Rights Card are brought into the scheme.
- Paid straight into the Aadhaar-seeded account by DBT, with status searchable by Aadhaar number.
Who is eligible
State schemes usually state their criteria as prose rather than a checklist. This is that prose, unpacked — the department’s verification is what decides.
You qualify if
- Permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh
- Farmer family holding cultivable land, or a tenant with a valid Crop Cultivator Rights Card
- Listed as a PM-KISAN beneficiary with e-KYC completed
- Aadhaar-seeded bank account for DBT
Not covered
- Anyone excluded from PM-KISAN — income-tax payers, serving and retired government employees above the exempt grades, and holders of constitutional posts
- Institutional landholders
Documents you need
Have these ready before you start — most rejections are a missing paper, not a missing right.
- Aadhaar card
- PM-KISAN registration ID
- Land record (adangal / 1-B), or the Crop Cultivator Rights Card for a tenant
- Bank passbook, Aadhaar-seeded
How to apply
Fewer steps than a central scheme, and usually one office rather than a portal.
- 1
Get your PM-KISAN record right first
Complete e-KYC and confirm the land seeding. The state top-up is drawn from that list — a blocked PM-KISAN record blocks this too.
- 2
Verify at the Rythu Seva Kendram
Village-level verification of land and tenancy happens here. Tenant farmers should carry the Crop Cultivator Rights Card.
- 3
Check the status by Aadhaar
The portal accepts an Aadhaar number and shows whether the instalment has been released against your name.
Frequently asked questions
Is ₹20,000 on top of PM-KISAN, or does it include it?
It includes it. The central government pays ₹6,000 and the state adds ₹14,000, so the family total for the year is ₹20,000.
I am a tenant farmer with no land in my name. Do I qualify?
Yes, if you hold a valid Crop Cultivator Rights Card for the season. Without that card there is no record of your cultivation to verify against.
Do I have to apply separately?
No. The beneficiary list is drawn from PM-KISAN records verified at the Rythu Seva Kendram. Fixing your PM-KISAN record is the only action that matters.
