About this variety

Arka Gaurav is a capsicum selection from ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru, developed from the American cultivar Golden Dalwonder. The indeterminate, green-foliaged plant carries thick-fleshed, three-to-four lobed, green fruit averaging 130–150 g that turns erect and ripens orange-yellow. Its most valuable trait is a genuine tolerance of bacterial wilt (Ralstonia solanacearum), which makes it a strong choice on fields with a history of that disease where most other varieties struggle.
