About this variety

Pusa Chetki is an Asiatic (tropical) white radish from ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, and the standard warm-season variety for the plains and the south. It tolerates heat well and can be sown from March through August — much of the year when temperate types would only bolt. The roots are smooth, cylindrical, pure white, about 20–25 cm, mildly pungent, and ready in a fast 40–45 days. Being open-pollinated, its seed can be saved.
