Overview
Madhya Pradesh matches PM-KISAN rupee for rupee. The state pays its own ₹6,000 a year in three instalments of ₹2,000, so a family already on the central list receives ₹12,000 across the year rather than ₹6,000.
The state amount started at ₹4,000 a year in 2020 and was raised to ₹6,000 in 2023. There is no separate registration: the beneficiary list is the PM-KISAN list, which is why an incomplete e-KYC costs you both payments at once, not one.
The scheme was launched in September 2020, during Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's fourth term. By March 2025, cumulative disbursal had crossed ₹17,500 crore to more than 83 lakh beneficiaries, with one recent tranche alone sending ₹3,308 crore to over 82.70 lakh farmers' accounts in a single round.

Confirm your PM-KISAN registration
This scheme has no list of its own. If PM-KISAN shows you as approved with e-KYC done, the state instalment follows.

Fix land seeding at the tehsil if needed
Khasra details are seeded through the revenue office. A mismatch there is the usual reason the state instalment stops.

saara.mp.gov.in accepts an Aadhaar number, a bank account number or a PM-KISAN ID and shows the instalment history.

Do I need to apply separately for the state ₹6,000?
No. The state uses the PM-KISAN beneficiary list. Getting onto PM-KISAN and keeping e-KYC current is the whole of it.
Was the amount not ₹4,000 earlier?
Yes — the scheme started at ₹4,000 a year in 2020 and the state raised it to ₹6,000 in 2023, paid as three instalments of ₹2,000.

Usually a bank-account or land-seeding mismatch on the state side. Check the record on SAARA first, then take the correction to the tehsil office.
