Overview
Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi is Maharashtra’s matching top-up to PM-KISAN, running since 2023. The state pays ₹6,000 a year in three instalments of ₹2,000, on the same rhythm as the central instalments.
Eligibility is deliberately identical to PM-KISAN, and the beneficiary list is taken from it, so there is no second form to fill. In practice the state instalment usually lands within days of the central one — if it does not, the problem is nearly always on the PM-KISAN record itself.

Frequently asked questions
Do the two ₹6,000 payments arrive together?
Usually within days of each other, but they are released separately. A delay in one does not mean the other is blocked.
I have land but no PM-KISAN registration. Do I get this?
No. The state list is the PM-KISAN list. Register for PM-KISAN first and the state instalment follows automatically.
Does this replace crop insurance or loan waivers?
No — it is unconditional income support and sits alongside them. It has nothing to do with any crop-loss claim you may have filed.
