About this variety
Sree Rekha, released by ICAR-CTCRI in 2000, is an erect, branching cassava table variety with 28–30% starch content, suited to both upland and lowland conditions. It has stayed in active use long enough that CTCRI has continued producing quality planting material of it over recent years, making it one of the more reliably sourced clonal table varieties for Kerala growers rather than an older release that has quietly gone out of circulation.
